As well as offering the full spectrum of car services, the Abery Motor Centre offers courtesy cars so that clients experience as little disruption as possible when they get their car fixed. On occasions when a courtesy car is not available, their pick-up service will see them collect the car from your home and drop it back to you, provided that you live within a reasonable distance of Arlesey and Hitchin.
The team are approved to deliver class 4, 5 and 7 MOT tests. Class 4 tests, for cars, will take about an hour and are carried out by fully qualified mechanics. Class 5 MOT tests are for ambulances and vehicles such as minibuses with more than 13 seats, and class 7 MOT tests are for light commercial goods vehicles that weigh between 3 and 3.5 tonnes. Should their testers identify any necessary repairs in order for your vehicle to pass its MOT test, they will usually be able to carry them out on the same day. The team will give you a call before carrying out any work and let you know the timescale.
